Who We Are

We are a Caribbean-based people, leadership, business and service excellence consultancy. Our services include soft skills training and development, psychometric assessments, coaching, strategic planning, change management, HR advisory and management services, and group facilitation. Our clients span the gamut of private, public, not-for-profit and community-based organizations.  We are also a registered Assessment Centre with The Barbados Technical & Vocational Education Training Council.


Toney A. Olton - Principal Consultant

Our Principal Consultant brings a wealth of training and management experience to his leadership of the team. He is a trained educator, a former Life Insurance VP of Sales, and a former reserve officer in The Barbados Defense Force.  His passion for and commitment to people, leadership and business excellence is evidenced by his own continuing professional development, and the diligence with which he serves his clients.  Toney is a member of The Caribbean Institute of Certified Management Consultants.  He holds a Technical Teachers' Training Certificate, and is a Certified Associate Trainer with 6 Seconds, a leading international Emotional Intelligence Training Consultancy and Network.  He has completed studies in Management (CMD-UWI), and The Psychology of Work (Leicester). He is a certified Hospitality Assured business advisor, certified competency-based trainer, and a Caribbean Vocational Qualifications Level 4 certified assessor.  Toney is also certified in Group Facilitation Technology, holds advanced certification in Holistic Counseling, NLP Master Practitioner certification, and is a certified life coach.  He is certified in the administration of the MBTI personality assessment by the American Management Association and The Saville Consulting Wave suite of psychometric assessments.   He has also completed the FranklinCovey 'Seven Habits of Highly Effective People' and 'Unleashing Human Potential' professional development programs. He is a member of The International Association of Facilitators, is a former Chair of The Caribbean Facilitators Network and President of The Bridgetown Toastmaster Club.  He is the Barbados Family Planning Association's 2015 recipient of the Lady Grace Adams Volunteer of The Year award, and is a member of The Optimists of Barbados South Club.


Toney founded Potter Centre in 1998 and has earned an outstanding reputation among both his individual and corporate clients as a highly competent soft skills trainer and organization development consultant, consistently delivering quality results. He is also highly regarded as a motivational/keynote speaker.

Olivet Hinds - Change Management & HR Specialist

Olivet Hinds is a management consultant with over 25 years business and HR experience across multiple industries including Construction, Financial Services, Hospitality, Media and Broadcasting, Logistics and Supply Chain. Her aim is to enable improved organizational productivity and effectiveness. 

Olivet has led organizational analysis and guided organizational change initiatives including: the transition from non-unionized to unionization, HR transformation and reorganization, the implementation of Balanced Scorecard performance metrics.  

Olivet is a Certified Facilitator specializing in labour-management relations, Alternative Dispute Resolution and strategic planning for Small and Medium Sized organizations.  She holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Change Management and is currently a PhD Candidate in the Business Psychology Program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.




Linda Christian-Clarke - Tourism & Hospitality Management

Linda Christian-Clarke is a tourism professional with progressive executive experience in developing international markets that generate significant economic benefits. She has a proven record of building and managing public and private sector partnerships that promote Barbados as a premier tourism destination in the Caribbean, South and Latin American markets..

Linda holds a BA degree, French Major, from the University of the West Indies .and a Master of Science degree in Management and Hospitality with Distinction from Revans University - the University of Action Learning. She has also pursued courses in Marketing, Public Relations, Sustainable Tourism Development, Leadership Development and Management. She is conversant in French and Spanish.

Linda is a certified Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) Assessor with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Council.




Krisnan Hurdle - Strategic Intervention Life Coach

Krisnan is a Tony Robbins trained Strategic Intervention Life Coach. Having practiced his leadership and coaching skills in his previous job role Krisnan made a decision to attain formal competencies by pursuing certification in Leadership training, Life Coaching and Counselling. During his stint with a national youth organization over the past six years Krisnan has been the coordinator of a national leadership program for students in the secondary schools which involved hosting an annual national leadership camp for secondary students. This program has seen four national scholarship and exhibition achievers coming from among its participants.

Having laid a foundation with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology with Management (with Honors) Krisnan continued to bolster his competencies by completing FranklinCovey's Signature Leadership Program - "Leadership: Great Leaders, Great Teams, Great Results". He completed a course in Supervisory Management through the Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity (BIMAP) and also possesses a Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) Level 3 certification in Management.

Ms. Caroline Adamson - Skills Development Consultant

Ms. Caroline Adamson is a Skills Development Consultant and certified N/CVQ Trainer with a wealth of experience and knowledge in competency-based education and training. Her extensive experience provides trainees with the technical skills, knowledge and attitudes for their work role. She holds a MSc. Degree in Training and Human Resources Management from the University of Leicester and is a certified Master Coach through The Behavioural Coaching Institute in New York. Caroline's training sessions are fun, energetic and interactive, and will really get you thinking about your role in the customer experience. She is a former Senior Training and Development Specialist having worked in both local and regional organisations.




Ms. Cheryl "Nyahra" Gittens - Life Performance Coach

Nyahra is a speaker, consultant, inspired author and creator of Connect With Your Passion┬« Retreats and Life Coaching.  She coaches highly motivated professionals to turn their passions into lifestyle supporting service businesses.  Nyahra has whole lot of exciting things planned for her life and can't wait to experience them deeply so she can share with the rest of the world. Commissioned to bring her life's journey to the world through Connect With Your Passion, she honours her responsibility through her coaching, speaking, facilitation and outreach programmes. Nyahra is one who believes that each of us is born with a blueprint of our purpose. However, along the way we learned to ignore our blueprint as we wandered our way through life listening to those "wiser" than ourselves.




Mr. David Parris - Human Resources, Leadership and Management Specialist / Distinguised Toastmaster

Mr. David Parris is an accomplished and respected speaker, seminar presenter, trainer and speech evaluator. He delivers seminars\workshops and presentations to various Toastmasters, public and private sector organizations and community groups locally and in the Caribbean.

A graduate of UWI, Cave Hill and the University College of Swansea, University of Wales Mr. Parris has extensive experience and training in the areas of management, communication and leadership. He is also a certified Master Trainer

Mr. Parris is a member of the Bridgetown Toastmasters Club and is the recipient of Toastmasters International highest award and designation Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM). He is a former Area Governor and has served as Judge and Chief Judge at several local, national and regional debate, speech and evaluation contests.

DTM Parris is a Human Resources, Leadership and Management Specialist. He is a Christian and serves as a member of The District Board of Administration (the governing body of the Wesleyan Holiness Church) and Chairman of the District Board of Christian Education.




Mr. Amado Marcano - Sales Management Consultant

Mr. Marcano has had an extensive and successful career in the Life Insurance industry commencing in September 1984.  He is an experienced Sales Management Consultant for Amadeus Inc., with his most current project being that of Sales Management Consultant for Guardian Holdings.  

Amado was granted the designations of Chartered Insurance Agency Manager (CIAM) and Chartered Leadership fellow (CLF) from the American College/LIMRA in 1999.  He has received the most company and industry production awards and is a Million Dollar Round Table Life member.

He is a moderator for American College and LIMRA programs and completed Train-the-Trainer to Train with the Institute of Business – NTL Institute and a facilitator for Leadership Management International.   Amado is also certified in the administratin of the Integrity Selling┬« program by The Integrity Team, Inc.  Most recently he completed a motivational speaking programme with W.I.N. International.



Mr. Marlon A. Charles

Marlon Charles spent two decades of his life in the engineering and medical arenas as a former machinist, safety officer and technical operator. He is currently the director and counselor of the youth division of Family Heartbeat International Network Inc., the founder of Pulse Radio 365 and a John Maxwell certified coach, trainer and teacher. He is a leadership coach currently working with a variety of church, para-church, youth and governmental organizations in Barbados and the region. Marlon is also a volunteer motivational trainer at Government Industrial School (GIS) and Her Majesty Prison Dodds.

Marlon's wealth of experience in social media marketing sets him above other traditional business coaches and advisors. His out of the box thinking coupled with his tenacity for fresh new ideas, act as his calling card. Over the years, Marlon has transformed the management teams of businesses through the Caribbean region including Barbados and Trinidad. He encourages the management teams business and personal growth, while motivating and encouraging individuals to higher levels.

Marlon is trained in the 6 Core Learning Systems of the John Maxwell University, which certifies him as a business coach, teacher, trainer and speaker with the John Maxwell Group. He has also successfully completed training in Effective Counselling, which adds to his ability to holistically approach add resolution to management challenges. He has also undergone training at the Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity in Management. Marlon is well equipped with the know how to increase productivity, lift company morale, and inspire creativity.
